Texas Christian University’s Harris College of Nursing and Health Sciences (HCNHS) invites applications for a 9-month position(s) as an Assistant or Associate Professor in Nursing.
Requirements
An earned PhD in Nursing or other health-related field is required. Candidates with established and/or ongoing external funding are strongly encouraged to apply. Preference given to individuals with an established program of research in the areas of wellness and chronic disease, health disparities, or population health. We are especially interested in candidates with experience teaching undergraduate and graduate nursing in the areas of behavioral health, adult medical-surgical, clinical reasoning, and professional issues. Broad clinical expertise in adult medical-surgical, and/or simulation preferred. The position(s) is on-campus and in-person. Candidates must hold or be eligible to obtain a current, valid, unencumbered license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Texas. Salary is commensurate with education and experience.
